The most respectable and experienced singer Abida Parveen has famous for Sufiana Kalam. She is popular as globally as worldwide, has sung in different languages, likewise Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi and Persian also. She has expertise of songs, genres Kafi, Ghazals and Qawwalies she measured as one of the most excellent Sufi vocals. She won the Pakistani civilian award the Hilal-e-Imtiaz has also been a judge in a reality show Sur Kshetra.

Abida Parveen’s hit songs are Yaar Ko Humne, Raqs-e-Bismil her first song was Tuhinje Zulfan Jay it is a Sindhi song has got popularity in people of Sindh in Pakistan. She had started her career   from Radio Pakistan in 1973. In 1977 she became known as an Official of Radio Pakistan, she has not only sung in home country in 1993 has gone abroad and performed in sold-out places. She has basically attached with the Sufism from heart and loves to play as Suffiana Kalam and her main purpose to go US to spread Sufism in all around the world and wanted to convey a message of peace and love.

She also visited USA, UK and France to perform recently she has performed in Coke Studio Songs, she has sung Dost, Mai Sufi Hun and Chaap Tilak Songs in coke studio season 7 had also sung in coke studio season 3 Ramooz-e-Ishq, Nigahe Drwaishaan and Soze Ishqin.

Abida Parvees said she got offered from Bollywood but she refused, just because of she wants to convey a  great message through Sufism in all over the world.
